Suntech (STP) Profit Rises Sharply, Raises Revenue Guidance

Suntech announced Wednesday that its second-quarter net profit rose 58% to $65.2 million, or 38 cents a share, from $41.3 million, or 25 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue grew 51% to $480.2 million. Adjusted profit for the quarter was 41 cents a share.
