Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) has announced today that its subsidiary, BAF Technologies, was designated a Qualified Vehicle Modifier for natural gas fueled vehicles by Ford (F). BAF provides aftermarket conversions of Ford vans, shuttles, taxis and pick ups. The designation allows purchasers to retain their warranties because the vehicles have undergone rigorous testing to make sure the modifications meet Ford’s quality guidelines.

Westport Innovations (WPRT) Announces Order For 50 LNG Trucks
Westport Innovations (WPRT) has announced that Vedder Transport of British Columbia will purchase 50 Peterbilt LNG trucks featuring their LNG engines, pumps and fuel injectors. A few months ago Robert Transport of Quebec purchased 180 of these Peterbilt LNG trucks which has been the largest order to date.

Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) and Hertz (HTZ) announced an agreement yesterday to partner on a CNG fueling station on property adjacent to LAX airport. Quebec based Robert Transport placed an order for 180 Peterbilt LNG trucks featuring Wesport HD Systems. The HD Systems consist of a 15 litre engine, proprietary fuel injectors, LNG fuel tanks and pumps and electrical components.
