Sanyo has opened a new assembly plant in Ohtsu. The new 7000m2 plant has an initial capacity of 40MW per annum with the capacity to expand production further, Sanyo said.  The new facility is part of Sanyo’s latest investment in solar, with total investment of $650 million in next 3 years.
