LDK Solar (LDK) is announcing this morning that they have signed a contract with Efinity of Belgium to supply them with about 50MW to be delivered in 2010. The two companies have worked together in the past and are expanding their relationship.

It was announced after the bell today that LDK Solar (LDK) will be the solar module supplier for the largest rooftop solar installation in Benelux which is an economic union between Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. LDK will supply 18K solar modules which will be installed on the Balta Group’s (manufacturer of carpets, rugs and flooring) rooftop factory in Belgium and provide a peak capacity of 4.2MW. Trina Solar (TSL) is announcing that it in the 2nd quarter it will soon begin shipping 15MW of solar PV modules to Belgium solar project specialist Efinity.
