Comverge (COMV) didn’t have as much success in securing future revenues in the PJM market as EnerNOC (ENOC) did, but they have announced that they secured more than $74 million in future contracted revenue as a result of the 2013/2014 Reliability Pricing Model Base Residual Auction.
EnerNOC (ENOC) has announced that based on the 2013/2014 Reliability Pricing Model Base Residual Auction results, it now expects to recognize over $200 million in DemandSMART revenue from the PJM market in 2013. They have also increased their base residual market share from 35% in 2012/2013 to 40% in 2013/2014.
Kandi Technologies (KNDI) reported strong earnings results this morning with an EPS of .04/share on revenues of $8.25 million. That’s a big improvement over the year ago quarter in which the company reported a loss of .03/share on revenues of $4 million, but no so impressive when you compare it sequentially. Akeena Solar just announced a new partnership with Westinghouse. Under the terms of the exclusive, global agreement, Akeena will now manufacture, distribute, market and install its solar panels using the Westinghouse name.By using the Westinghouse name for Akeena’s Andalay line of solar panels, the company hopes to attract consumers by tapping into their trust and familiarity with the Westinghouse name.
Clean Harbors just announced that it has been selected to take part in the Deepwater Horizon spill clean up attempts. Both the government and private organizations have contracted with Clean Harbors for wide range of environmental services related to the spill, including containing, removing and disposing of the oil, as well as providing specialized equipment and containment boom. As expected, Converted Organics (COIN) reported another healthy increase in quarter over quarter revenue growth and continues to narrow its quarterly loss. The company reported an EPS loss .17 which is a big improvement over the .49 loss in the year ago quarter and the .27/share loss reported last quarter. Yingli Green Energy (YGE) has announced it will be providing the solar modules for what will be France’s largest solar plant. Yingli will provide 33MW to developer MAETEL beginning in October and finish up next spring. The solar plant in Curbans, France will be owned by GDF SUEZ Group and produce 43.5 million kw/hours of renewable energy each year.
Tetra Tech (TTEK) has received a $50 million, 3 year (with additional 2 yr) contract to provide remediation services for the US Army Corps of Engineers to help prevent the spread of environmental contamination from pollutants and hazardous materials.
TTEK is a billion/year in revenues company, so the stock is moving much on the news, but is up about 2% today.
