Comverge (COMV) Misses Estimates, But Reaffirms Guidance

Comverge (COMV) reported a wider loss of .41/share this morning, 5 cents worse than Wall St estimates.  Revenues were also lighter than what Wall St anticipated at $13.4 million (estimates called for $16 million).  With revenues increasing 16% over the year ago quarter and MW under contract increasing 15% I would have liked to have seen a much better EPS number, so all in all, a disappointing quarter out of COMV which is expecting in … Read the rest

Echelon (ELON) Beats, But Flat Over Year Ago; Files Mixed Shelf

Today reminds me why I don’t particularly enjoy earnings season.. it’s a heckuvva lotta work keeping up!  Echelon (ELON) reported today too and beat Wall St estimates by a decent margin.  They reported a non GAAP loss of .18/share on revenues of $18.1 million.  While that beat estimates of -.33/share on revenues of $16.37 million, it’s basically a flat quarter over the year ago quarter.

Analyst Roundup: Buy EnerNOC (ENOC), Sell Evergreen Solar (ESLR)

A few analyst notes to tell you about this morning on EnerNOC (ENOC) which reported earnings last night and Evergreen (ESLR) which reported uninspiring results two days ago.  Clearly, these companies are heading in opposite directions and the analysts agree.  Hat tip to Street Insider for the following analyst comments.

EnerNOC (ENOC) Beats & Raises Guidance

EnerNOC (ENOC) reported results after the bell that were stronger than Wall St forecasts.  The company posted a narrower loss of .41/share vs the estimate of .69/share loss on revenues of $28.1 million which beat estimates by about $2 million.  That’s a nice beat and considerably better than the year ago quarter when the company posted a loss of .48/share.  Revenues increased 53% over the year ago quarter.   I’m not sure the results were strong … Read the rest

NV Energy to Continue Partnership With Comverge (COMV)

NV Energy just announced that it has extended its partnership with Comverge. Under the agreement, Comverge will keep managing NV Energy’s 143 MW smart grid ready demand response program, which is currently the biggest in the country.  Comverge will also add an additional 12 MW of capacity to the program.
