Bloom Energy’s Bloom Box is generating all kinds of buzz after being featured on 60 Minutes on Sunday (video below). The company will publicly launch the Bloom Box fuel cell technology tomorrow which has wild rumors swirling that the company will have an IPO soon. Quantum Fuel Tech (QTWW) has supplied Shell with hydrogen fueling technology and infrastructure equipment to support its station in New York near the entrance to JFK Airport. The hydrogen fueling station which is open to the public is part of a group of hydrogen fueling stations opened by Shell around New York in partnership with the Port Authority of NY, New Jersey, US Dept of Energy and General Electric.

Whole Foods (WFMI) To Use Plug Power (PLUG) Fuel Cells In Fork Lifts
Plug Power (PLUG) got another pop in its stock over an hour ago after it was announced that Whole Foods Market (WFMI) will use 61 GenDrive fuel cell powered forklifts at a distribution plan in Landover, Maryland. The company expects that converting to GenDrive fuel cells will increase production efficiency while reducing emissions up to 80%.
