AES Corp (AES) launched the largest wind farm in Bulgaria and one of the largest in the region today.  The 156MW, 52 turbine farm near Kavarna on the Black Sea coast cost nearly $400 million to build.  Bulgaria now has a total wind power capacity of 330MW, getting the country closer to its goal of 16% renewable energy within the next 10 years.  AES is well positioned to profit from wind energy growth not only in Bulgaria but France as well as the countries expect to increase wind energy capacity by 5000MW over the next five years.

Technically, AES has been in a long, steady up trend since March and remains above the 50 day moving average.
