General Electric (GE): 4 Billion Invested in Renewable Energy
General Electric (GE) has added 3 new wind farms in upstate New York to its growing portfolio of renewable energy investments which are comprised mostly of wind projects and now total 4 billion (20% of the total). That represents a 33% increase in renewable energy investments from just 5 months ago and the company is predicting and the 50% increase by 2010.
The upstate New York investments are in a project being developed by Noble Environmental Power which will IPO soon.
