Suntech just announced that they have signed an exclusive distribution contract for the North American market with Eagle Roofing. Under the agreement, Eagle Roofing will incorporate Suntech’s SolarBlend(tm) roof tiles into the Eagle Solar roof. Eagle expects that this agreement will lead to the SolarBlend tiles being installed in over 1,000 homes. Eagle will also offer Suntech’s Black Label(TM) STP 175S – 24/Ab-1 175-watt modules to its customers. Along with Suntech’s products, Eagle will also offer a variety of value-added services to make solar power more accessible to consumers, including help with planning, installation, financing and help applying for federal and state rebates.

Leonard May, Suntech’s managing director of BIPV products, commented on the agreement:

"We are excited to team with Eagle Roofing Products to offer an integrated solar electric solution. By combining the core strengths of both companies, we are confident that we will consistently deliver innovative products to a wide audience of contractors and their customers across the U.S., Canada and Mexico."

I was reading there would be plenty of tax incentives and grant money for using solar products in home construction. From a commercial standpoint, if the system is well designed, the owner should be able to resell some of the unused power back to the electric company.
