Not Even A Nationwide China Solar FIT Can Get China Solar Stocks Moving

Nothing seems to be working to get the China solar stocks off the ground, not even the announcement of China’s first nationwide solar FIT program.  Rumors have been swirling for a few days and it was announced that the government will provide developers payment of RMB 1.15 (.18 kw/hr) if approved by 1 July or completed by the end of the year and RMB 1/kWh if approved after July 1st.

Piper Jaffray: Germany Hasn’t Made Subsidy Decision

According to Street Insider, Piper Jaffray’s solar analyst, Jesse Pichel, issued a research note saying that “there were no proposals from the industry or specific demands from the Environmental Ministry of Germany” related to the solar subsidies.
