Ascent Solar (ASTI) Gets Distribution Agreement With DisaSolar Of France

Ascent Solar (ASTI) has announced a distribution agreement with DisaSolar of France which will use ASTI’s flexible, thin film solar product in passenger train roofs and commercial signage.  No word on the length or financials of the deal.

Samsonite To Integrate Ascent Solar (ASTI) Thin Film Panels Into Luggage

Ascent Solar (ASTI) Passes Important Heat Test For Thin Film CIGS Solar Modules

Ascent Solar (ASTI) which develops the flexible, thin film CIGS solar modules, has announced this morning it has reached an important milestone on the path to certification of its product.  In internal testing, its flexible packaging solution successfully passed heat testing of 1000 hours at 85% humidity and 85 degrees C which meets the guidelines set forth by IEC 61646 standards for thin film solar modules.

A-Power Energy (APWR) Adds Thin Film Solar To The Mix With EvaTech Purchase

First Solar (FSLR) To Supply PV Modules For Australia’s Largest Installation

First Solar (FSLR) announced late last night that they will supply PV solar modules to Solar Shop Australia for a 1MW rooftop project that will be installed on 6 separate buildings at the Adelaide Showground in South Australia.  The project, which is being commissioned by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia, will represent the largest PV installation in the country.
