Trina Solar (TSL) is partnering with Enfinity of Belgium, a large renewable energy developer, to provide solar rooftop installations to the Belgian-European Pavilion and the Theme Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.  The Belgian-Euro Pavilion will use about 700 Trina modules for the 160kW system.

“We are delighted that Enfinity and the Belgian Government have selected Trina Solar to supply our high quality modules for their two prestigious pavilions and are using clean energy to reinforce the Shanghai Expo theme of ‘Better City, Better Life’,” said Mr. Jifan Gao, Trina Solar’s Chairman and CEO. “Adoption of solar PV is a perfect solution for inner city sustainable renewable energy which will make an increasing contribution to the quality of life in cities going forward.”

Shares of TSL are up about 3% today and continue to hold above the 20 day moving average.  It’s in the process of carving out a new base.
