Converted Organics (COIN) announced today that it has entered a relationship with Central Jersey Waste/Premier Management. Converted Organics converts food waste into a natural fertilizer that can be used to amend soil for organic gardening and farming. The company already has the permits needed to build a processing plant that can process 500 tons of food waste per day, using a high-temperature liquid composting process. Once the plant is up and running, Converted Organics and Central Jersey Waste will collaborate on the collection and processing of food waste from clients served by Central Jersey Waste.

Jack Walsdorf, Converted Organic’s Vice President of Sales, explained that the new relationship is mutually beneficial, saying “Our proprietary HTLC process can help Central Jersey Waste work to its best advantage in New Jersey. We require source-separated food waste, and Central Jersey Waste is in a great position to meet this need.”
