Ener1 Inc (HEV) Quietly Breaking Out

While the rest of the green energy market crumbles along with the general market, there are a few green stocks quietly showing strong technical action.  One such company is Ener1 (HEV), the maker of lithium batteries for electric cars.  A few days ago it broke out of a double bottom base and is now forming a handle as volume levels indicate good demand for the stock.  A breakout from the handle above 8.50 and a breakout above all time highs at around 9 would be very bullish.

Disclaimer: I have no position in HEV.  It is a highly speculative stock and the current analysis is not a recommendation to buy or sell..please do your own research and trade based on your own tolerance for risk.
