Orion Energy Systems (OESX) Reports Mixed Results, Reaffirms Guidance

Ener1 (HEV) Revenue Surges, Profits Remain Elusive As Think Shipments Begin

Ener1 (HEV) continues to post significant increases in revenues, but remains mired in red ink.  The company reported another big jump in revenues and beat the analyst estimate of $15.4 million, posting $16.1 million, but profits remain elusive.  The company reported an EPS of -.12, vs the estimate for a -.11/share loss.  That was inline with what they reported last quarter and worse than the .11 loss they reported in the year ago quarter.  Granted, … Read the rest

PowerSecure (POWR) Beats As Revenue Growth Continues Acceleration

PowerSecure International (POWR) posted results after the bell that were better than expectations.  The company reported a  Q2 EPS of $0.07, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05 on revenues of $34.3 million, vs the estimate of $30.04 million.  Sequentially, the EPS number was flat, but 75% above the year ago number while revenues were 36% above the year ago quarter.  It marks the 4th consecutive quarter of accelerating revenue growth.  Another solid … Read the rest

Satcon Technology (SATC) Reports Record Revenue, Misses On EPS; Guides Above

Satcon Technology (SATC) reported a Q2 loss of $0.12, vs the analyst estimate of ($0.05) after the bell today. Revenue for the quarter was $27.6 million, vs the estimate of $26.8 million.  That’s a record revenue number for the company, but it didn’t translate into profits.  The company doesn’t expect profitability until 2011, but is rapidly moving there.

Fuel Systems Solutions (FSYS) Acquiring Productive Concepts International For $11.1M

Fuel Systems Solutions just announced that it is in the pr0cess of purchasing Productive Concepts International’s alternative fuel vehicle business for $11.1 million, expanding its US automotive OEM market penetration. The purchase includes $975,000 in assumed debt and is expected to be complete within the next 30 days, after which Productive Concepts International will become Fuel Systems Solutions’ subsidiary.

Fuel Systems Solutions (FSYS) Smashes Estimates, Narrows Guidance

EnerNOC (ENOC) Reports EPS Way Above Estimates, Guides Significantly Higher

Everyone expected emerging demand response leader EnerNOC (ENOC) to have a great quarter, but it was MUCH better than expected on the EPS side.  While the company posted a revenue number that was about 5% below analyst expectations at $66.5 million, the EPS number of .17/share smashed the estimate of .03/share.
