Suntech just announced that is has connected the first 10 MW, ground mount solar power project to the Chinese power grid. The project, completed through collaboration with Suntech’s partner China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation (CECIC). Trina Solar (TSL) Extends Long Term Supply Agreement With GCL-Poly
Trina Solar (TSL) has announced this morning that it has extended its eight year supply agreement with GCL-Poly another five years, extending the supply deal through 2020. NRG Energy just announced that it has been chosen by the city of Houston to build and operate a 10 MW solar power installation, according to Reuters. The project will be constructed at NRG’s Wharton Generating Station using First Solar’s PV modules.
