Today, PowerSecure (POWR) announced $15 million in new orders across its range of green energy products. The breakdown is $8 million for its smart grid power systems, $5 million for utility infrastructure products and $2 million for LED lighting products. The new business comes from a range of customers and will be recognized as revenue this year. To put the new contracts in perspective, the company has been averaging about $25 million a quarter in revenue over the past year, so the new business is fairly significant.

Shares of POWR finished about flat today and continue to work on the bottom of a new base.
