Shares of Cree Inc (CREE) are touching new 52 week lows this morning after the company lowered Q3 guidance. They now see revenue in the range of $215 – $220 million (down from previous estimate of $245 – $265 million) due to lower demand for both chips and other components. Cree Inc (CREE) recently announced that its new XLamp XP-E High Efficiency White LEDs which enable LED fixture and bulb manufacturers to use half the amount of LEDs are now commercially available.
