JA Solar (JASO) Partners With Innovalight To Increase Solar Cell Efficiency
JA Solar (JASO) cemented its partnership with Innovalight of California today, signing a 3 year supply agreement for silicon nanoparticle ink which is a key component in JA Solar’s new SECIUM high efficiency solar cells which are expected to move into volume production very soon. JASO has been able to achieve efficiency rates of 18.9% and the two companies are working together to push that to over 20%.
JA Solar (JASO) Snags 70MW Supply Agreement With Solar-Fabrik
JA Solar just announced that it has signed a 70 MW supply agreement with Solar-Fabrik AG, a European company it has been working with since 2008. Per the agreement, JA Solar will supply Solar-Fabrik AG with 70MW of solar PV materials in 2010. Shipments have already commenced.

JA Solar (JASO) announced after the bell today that it has acquired 100% of the shares of Shanghai Jinglong Solar Technology from Ningling Jinglong PV Investment of which JA Solar’s Chairmen, Baofang Jin, owns a controlling interest. JA Solar (JASO) announced this morning that it has won a solar supply agreement with MEMC Electronic Materials (WFR) that has JASO supplying them with high performance solar modules beginning in the third quarter of this year and running through 2012.
