Tetra Tech (TTEK) announced about an hour ago that they have been awarded another contract to help complete the Keenan II Wind Farm in Oklahoma. They provided engineering services to the adjacent and recently completed OU Spirit Wind Farm as well as environmental and permitting work for Keenan. Valence (VLNC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens this morning to develop advanced battery storage solutions for marine applications to be compatible with Siemen’s ELFA Hybrid drive marine propulsion system. I for one look forward to the day when battery powered boats are the norm. Gasoline powered boats are highly inefficient and big polluters of lakes, rivers and oceans… that includes noise pollution from jet skis!

LDK Solar (LDK) Buyout Rumors Swirl Again
Several months ago when LDK was trading about 200% higher from current levels, the rumors began to swirl that Siemens would make a buyout bid of LDK Solar at around $55/share.
