With Quantum Fuel’s (QTWW) Help, Jesse James Sets New Land Speed World Record For Hydrogen Car

Last week, Jesse James (of West Coast Choppers fame) set a new land speed world record at 199.712 MPH with a hydrogen fueled car, developed in part by Quantum Fuel Systems (QTWW), called the Streamliner.  The milestone event, which took place in the Mojave Desert, will be shown in your living rooms on Sunday, August 9th at 10 PM ET/PT on Spike TV.

Quantum Fuel Systems is probably best known for their work with Fisker Automotive on the Fisker KARMA, the first luxury plugin hybrid introduced in Detroit last year and expected to be available to the public next year.

  1. Owning stock in Quantum, and being a fan of Jesse James, I think this just made my day.
