Clean Energy Fuels To Purchase Exterran’s Gas Station Business

Clean Energy Fuels just announced that it is buying Exterran’s  natural gas fueling station business. The $5.9 million deal includes all of Exterran’s natural gas stations as well as Exterran’s four maintenance contracts with transit operators.

In an article from Reuters, Clean Energy Fuel’s CEO Andrew Littlefair commented on the purchase:

Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) Gets Supply Contract For Oklahoma State Fuel Station

Clean Energy Fuels just received a 15-year compressed natural gas fueling station supply contract for Oklahoma State University. Although the fueling station will be used primarily to support OSU as it switches to a more environmentally-friendly fleet of CNG-powered buses and other vehicles, it will also be open to the public.

Heavily-Contested California Ballot Measures May Benefit Clean Energy Fuels Corp, CLNE

This fall, Californians will vote on two ballot measures related to alternative energy generation, Proposition 7 and Proposition 10.
