Valence (VLNC) Signs Supply Agreement With Optare Worth Up to $3.8M

Valence Technology just announced that it has signed a supply agreement with Optare PLC. The 3-year, exclusive supply agreement makes Valence the exclusive battery supplier for the Optare Solo EV zero-emissions electric bus. The agreement is expected to generate up to $3.8 million in battery sales for Valence.

Valence Technology (VLNC) Surges Back Above Buck On $3 Million Battery Order

Valence Technology (VLNC) To Supply Tennant (TNC) With Lithium Batteries

Valence Technologies (VLNC) announced this morning a two year supply deal with Tennant (TNC) for its lithium phosphate batteries to be used in Tennant’s new compact floor scrubber.  The lithium powered scrubber will be tested next month with full production scheduled a few months later.  No word on the financials of the deal.

Valence (VLNC) Signs MOU With Siemens To Develop Lithium Batteries For Boats

Valence (VLNC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens this morning to develop advanced battery storage solutions for marine applications to be compatible with Siemen’s ELFA Hybrid drive marine propulsion system.  I for one look forward to the day when battery powered boats are the norm.  Gasoline powered boats are highly inefficient and big polluters of lakes, rivers and oceans… that includes noise pollution from jet skis!
