Enova Systems, Inc. just announced that it is offering all-electric versions of the Ford F150 and Chevy Express cargo van integrated with its electric Zero Emissions (Ze) drive system. These vehicles provide service and utility fleets with an immediate option for zero-emissions, electric transportation.

In a press release, Enova Systems CEO Mike Staran elaborated on the advantages of the Ze drive system:

“This incremental deployment of the Ze all electric drive system is an important step as Enova continues to introduce industry defining products. These drive systems are ‘zero development time’ electric vehicle solutions, available immediately to Government, OEM, and Private fleet operators…It is important for customers and the government to understand our technology is production ready. The ability to drive vehicles with our system is further evidence that Enova is ready to offer immediate support for their electric vehicle initiatives.”

Enova-modified vehicles will be on display to OEMs, government officials and fleet operators in June at certain locations in the Midwest, East, and West Coasts.
