Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) posted better than expected results after the bell today reporting a non GAAP Q2 loss of $0.06, vs the analyst estimate of ($0.07) on revenues of $44 million, vs the estimate of $43.41 million. While the EPS number was worse than the year ago quarter’s number of ($0.01), the company posted a 58% increase in revenues.

Clean Energy Fuels has just announced that it has been awarded a new 10-year contract from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority. Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) Subsidiary BAF Gets Verizon CNG Conversion Order
A Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) subsidiary, BAF Technologies, has received an order from Verizon to convert 501 new Ford E-250 vans to CNG using BAF’s proprietary CalComp System. BAF will provide the technology and will outsource the installs to Steelweld Equipment of California and North American Upfitters of New Hampshire which are both participants in Verizon’s Supplier diversity program and have been long time suppliers.
