Lazard Capital & Collins Stewart Buy Rating On Yingli Green Energy (YGE)

Yingli Green Energy (YGE) is erasing Friday’s losses after Collins Stewart maintained its Buy rating and raised the price target from $10 to $11 and Lazard Capital upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy this morning.

FBR Capital Downgrades First Solar (FSLR)

All  that insider selling in recent days hasn’t done much to sink First Solar (FSLR), but it’s taking a small hit on an FBR Capital downgrade this morning, off about 4%.  The company is being downgraded from Market Perform to Under Perform with a price target of $100.

Evergreen Solar has not yet been able to locate the source of the noise pollution coming from its plant in Devens, MA. The deadline to resolve the issue is the 31st of May. Otter Tail (OTTR) To Build New Wind Farm

Otter Tail Power Company just announced that it will build a new wind farm in North Dakota, close to Lake Ashtabula. The project will cost $110 million. When it is completed next year, it will generate 49.5 MW power.

Yingli Green Energy (YGE) Misses Badly But Sees Solar Bottom

Yingli Green Energy (YGE) missed EPS and revenue estimates by a wide margin, but the stock is holding up reasonably well, off just 5%.  The company reported an EPS loss of .09/share on revenues of $146 million.  That’s a 36% haircut on the revenue side from the year ago quarter.  The CEO rhetoric remains the same.. poor economy, tight credit conditions, etc.  However, CEO Liansheng Miao does believe the 1st quarter marked a low point … Read the rest
