LDK Solar (LDK) To Supply Largest Rooftop Solar Installation In Benelux
It was announced after the bell today that LDK Solar (LDK) will be the solar module supplier for the largest rooftop solar installation in Benelux which is an economic union between Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. LDK will supply 18K solar modules which will be installed on the Balta Group’s (manufacturer of carpets, rugs and flooring) rooftop factory in Belgium and provide a peak capacity of 4.2MW. LDK Solar (LDK) Begins To Ramp Up Production At Xinyu Plant
LDK Solar just announced that they have finished the first production run of the 5,000 metric ton (MT) train in their Xinyu, China plant. They have also begun ramping up production at the plant, which has a yearly capacity of 15,000 metric tons.

LDK Solar Enters Framework Agreement With Best Solar Company
LDK Solar just announced that it has entered a framework agreement with Best Solar Company. Under the agreement, the two companies will work together on downstream PV projects, with LDK providing solar wafers to Best Solar, and Best Solar assembling them into solar modules.

According to Reuters, LDK just announced that it will work with China’s Suqian City to develop 300 megawatts worth of solar PV projects. The projects are expected to be complete by 2015.

LDK Solar (LDK) is out with an update tonight on results of the 2nd quarter.
