Raser Technologies just announced that it has signed a geothermal lease agreement with Copper King Mining. The lease includes a total of 75,000 acres scattered in various locations across Utah. Most of the acreage is located near Razer’s No 1 geothermal project in Beaver County, Utah.

Raser Technologies Inc. is preparing to send geothermal power to the city of Anaheim as early as next week. The power will come from Raser’s Thermo plant in Utah. The plant has already been supplying some power, approximately 3.5 MW, to the city of Anaheim, and next week the company will begin to increase the amount of power that it sends.

Raser Technologies (RZ) has agreed to a long term lease agreement with private land owners covering 37K acres of geothermal resources in Southeastern Oregon. Financials of the deal were not disclosed but it includes the rights to build geothermal power plants.

Raser Technologies, Inc announced that is has secured funding for a geothermal power project to be installed near Beaver, Utah. Once complete, the geothermal plant will use PureCycle® geothermal power systems to produce 10 MW of electrical power, enough to supply electricity to 9,000 homes. Since the plant is geothermal, the power produced will be emissions-free.
