Trina Solar (TSL) reported record revenues and shipments this morning, beating analyst estimates in the process despite a $14 million forex hit. The company posted and EPS of .66 on revenues of $336.8 million, which was better than the analyst estimates of .61 and $328 million respectively. Trina Solar (TSL) announced today that it is partnering with TUV Rheinland Group, Underwriters Laboratories and China General Certification to “ensure world class” quality standards. Trina Solar (TSL) Partners With Enfinity For Solar Rooftop Projects
Trina Solar (TSL) is partnering with Enfinity of Belgium, a large renewable energy developer, to provide solar rooftop installations to the Belgian-European Pavilion and the Theme Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. The Belgian-Euro Pavilion will use about 700 Trina modules for the 160kW system.

China Development Bank Loans $11.72B To Trina (TSL) And Suntech (STP)
Trina Solar and Suntech Power Holdings have taken a combined $11.72 billion in loans from China Development Bank, according to Reuters. Suntech’s agreement with CDB will provide access to $7.33 billion in loans over a 5-year period. Trina Solar now has a loan agreement with CDB worth $4.40 billion that will last through 2015.
Both companies plan to use the loans for expansion.

Trina Solar (TSL) In 2.2MW Thailand Solar Supply Deal
Trina Solar (TSL) has announced a new solar supply deal this morning. Its subsidiary Changzhou Trina Solar is partnering with Grenzone of Singapore which is a solar integrator working across southeast Asia. Trina will supply solar nearly 10K modules beginning this month for a 2.2MW solar power plant in Thailand which is expected to come online in August.
