Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) On Successful Restart Of Stockton Ethanol Facility

Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) is surging about 20% today with heavy volume after the company announced this morning that it resumed ethanol production at its facility in Stockton, CA on Dec 9 and is running at about full capacity.

It should be noted that this isn’t new news.  The company first reported back in October it would resume operations due to governmental support for ethanol at the local and Federal (EPA) level.

Tesla (TSLA) Says Cheaper Batteries Gets It To Profitability Quicker Than Nissan With LEAF

China Integrated Energy (CBEH) Expanding Biodiesel Operations With Hainan Purchase

China Integrated Energy (CBEH) has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire the assets of Hainan Lin Gao Chemical which includes the land and facilities to provide a place for CBEH to build a 300K ton biodiesel plant.  The company is expected to close on the $9 million deal by the end of this quarter and begin production with an initial capacity of 100K tons within a year from the close.  The facility will … Read the rest

Gushan Environmental (GU) Soars On China Tax Break For Pure Biodiesel

Aixtron (AIXG) Gaps Up 10% On Indication It’s Received Large Order (Digitimes)
