A-Power Energy (APWR) has announced it signed an exclusive 2MW wind turbine deal with W2E Technologies and will license W2E technology to manufacture, operate, service and sell the turbines within the US and China. AES Wind Generation just announced that its 101 MW Armenia Mountain wind farm in Pennsylvania is up and running. AES will sell the 100% of the power produced by the plant to nearby utilities Delmarva Power and Light and Old Dominion Electric Cooperative under 15 year power purchase agreements, with each utility taking 50% of the output.
