A few months ago Soleil Securities downgraded FSLR from Buy to Hold but increased the price target a bit to $170. The firm just got a lot more bearish on the stock and is downgrading it again from Hold to Sell and slashing the price target from $170 to $96.

Advanced Battery Technologies (ABAT) just announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire a leading Chinese battery company,according to this press release.
As a down payment for the battery company, located in Shenzen, China, Advanced Battery Technologies will pay a refundable deposit of RMB 10 million. The final purchase will be made after Advanced Battery Technologies does its due diligence regarding the purchase, as long as everything checks out.

The ES-C Series consists of a line of 80, 120 and 125 MW solar panels are designed to provide a higher voltage to allow for direct 12, 24 or 48V battery charging. Ocean Power Technologies (OPTT) looks mighty close to putting in a bottom after testing the March lows in recent days and surging with volume again today after it reported a narrower loss yesterday morning. While revenues came in 27% lower than the year ago period at $1.3 million, the company reported a narrower loss of .21/share. Traders seemed to like the report, bidding up the stock nearly 20% in the past two trading days.

Yesterday, Canadian Solar (CSIQ) announced an expansion of the original MOU signed with LG CNS of South Korea last April. The add on MOU potentially adds another 10MW of solar projects in South Korea for next year. A study performed by Archer Daniels Midland Company and Fermanian Consulting, LLC showed that Converted Organics’ Turf Blend 6-0-0 outperformed both synthetic and natural competitors when it comes to growing golf course turf.
