Converted Organics, Inc. (COIN) Stock Price Remains Afloat In Troubled Market

Senate Extends Green Energy Tax Credits & Solar Is the Big Winner

Applied Materials And SunPower Team Up to Create Most Powerful Corporate Solar Power Installation In The US (AMAT, SPWR)

Applied Materials announced on Friday that it has completed a 2.1 MW solar power installation over its corporate headquarters, the largest corporate solar power installation in the country. Hoku Materials (HOKU) Secures Power for Polysilicon Production

Hoku Materials, a subsidiary of Hoku Scientific (HOKU) announced the signing of an electric service agreement with Idaho Power Co. for the purchase of electricity to power Hoku’s planned polysilicon production capacity of about 4000 metric tons/year.

LDK Solar’s Follow-on Offering A Striking Success (LDK)

In a week of financial turmoil, at least one company has managed to do well. LDK Solar’s follow-on offering raised $200.4 million by the end of the day Friday.
