Ascent Solar (ASTI) Signs Cooperation Agreement With Texsa

Ascent Solar announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Spain’s Texsa S.A. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will work together to develop building integrated photovoltaic roofing products for the European solar market. SunPower announced today that the price of its A common stock has been greater than or equal to S70.94 for 20 out of the past 30 days. $70.94/share is 125% of the conversion price for one series of SunPower’s senior convertible debentures. Yingli Green Energy (YGE) To Supply 1.4MW PV Modules For Largest University Solar Facility

UQM Technologies (UQM) Rockets Higher on Chrysler Electric Car Speculation

Trina Solar (TSL) To Top Sunpower (SPWR) and Power the Largest Rooftop Solar Installation

Sunpower (SPWR) announced this morning the installation at Toyota (TM), which is currently the largest North American rooftop installation.  Not to be outdone, Trina Solar (TSL) has announced that it take part in what will be the largest solar rooftop installation and has begun shipping 13400 solar PV modules (2.4MW) to power the Atlantic City Convention Center (enough to power 280 homes) and will save the company 4.4 million over 20 years.

Sunpower (SPWR) Completes Largest Solar Rooftop Installation At Toyota (TM)

Toyota Motor (TM) and Sunpower (SPWR) have announced the completion of the largest single room solar power installation (2.3MW) in North America at Toyota’s North America Parts Center in Ontario, California.
