Real Goods Solar (RSOL) posted a real good quarter after the bell today, surprising Wall St by reporting a profit.  Ok, the profit was miniscule at $17k, but it was much better than the .04/share loss analysts had expected and marked the 3rd straight quarter of profitability.  Revenues matched analyst estimates of $15 million and represented a 58% improvement over the year ago quarter.  The company attributed the improved margins to better installation practices, solar … Read the rest

Real Goods Solar (RSOL) Beats, Sees "Strong Demand For Residential Solar"

Real Goods Solar (RSOL) reported 4th quarter results after the bell today, posting slightly better results than what analysts expected.  The company posted an EPS of .01/share on revenues of $19.1 million.  Analysts expected a flat quarter on revenues of $18.85 million.  That’s good for a 42% increase in revenues over the year ago quarter and a big improvement in EPS too considering the company posted a .08/share loss in the year ago quarter.

Real Goods Solar (RSOL) Completes 417 kW Installation For California Affordable Housing Community

Real Goods Solar recently celebrated the completion of a 417 kW system for Richmond Village, an affordable housing community in the San Francisco Bay area. The company will participate in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 4th. So far, Real goods Solar has designed and installed 790  kW worth of solar installations for affordable housing communities in the area.

Real Goods Solar (RSOL) Reports Earnings, Announces Large Navy Order, Up Over 10% AH

Real Goods (RSOL) is surging over 10% in after hours trading after the company announced earnings as well as a large order from Northrop Grumman to install three solar systems on two Navy bases beginning at the end of the year.
